I have a fellow agent that was given a very substanial monetary "Thank You" gift from a recent client after the closing. Should the agent keep the gift or should it be graciously returned and if so how? Whats the most you have been given by a client as an appreciation for a job well done? I'd love to hear your thoughts.....this has been discussed and now we want your opinions too....

laura jefferson aquire real estate team: "Every strikeout got me closer to my next homerun"

"Every strikeout got me closer to my next homerun". Babe Ruth grew up in an orphanage. During his playing career he struck out a record 1330 times on his way to hitting 714 career homeruns. The Motto for me is to never ever quit swinging away. My son taught me that! Lexington Lumberjacks from Lexington South Carolina.
These are the type of things we're supposed to do to remove the cholesterol around our brain and try to slow up the possibility of Alzheimer's Disease.. It took me 2 times before I could finally tell this brain of mine to concentrate. A great test,do it until you get 100%! Bet you can't get 100% on the first try! But I'm rooting' for ya... This is pretty neat! See how you do with the colors! Have fun! It takes an average of 5 tries to get to 100%. Follow the directions. It's harder than it seems, as it should be! (13 comments)
Last year I wrote about the pleasure of being introduced to the local owner of Lets Dish Here in Columbia South Carolina. This year that appreciation goes even farther. What a great way to get a good meal with all that's going on with work, school schedules and our hectic lives. Lets Dish has several ways to do this and learn new dishes at the same time! I must say that it certainly has taken a new meaning for me on a family dinner. With the hustle and bustle of life its great to have a well (4 comments)

laura jefferson aquire real estate team: A teenage boy had just gotten his driver's license
- 07/23/09 03:02 AM
A teenage boy had just gotten his driver's license and inquired of his father as to when they could discuss his use of the car. His father said he'd make a deal with his son: 'You bring your grades up from a C to a B average, study your Bible a little, and get your hair cut. Then we'll talk about the car.' The boy decided he'd settle for the offer, and they agreed on it.After about six weeks his father said, 'Son, you've brought your grades up and I've observed that you have been studying your Bible, but I'm disappointed you haven't gotten your hair (12 comments)

laura jefferson aquire real estate team: Bears in Lexington SC...oh my!
- 07/01/09 12:18 AM
Bears in Lexington SC...oh my! Yesterday a young bear was spotted a mile or so from my home. This is right on the shores of Lake Murray in Lexington South Carolina near downtown and city limits. It is unusual to see a bear in the midlands of South Carolina as its not really there range. Bear sightings have increased over the last few years as it seems the population is growing. SCDNR Say's this is the time of year Mother Bears chase off the cubs to start a new life. And the cubs wonder about to find there own home range. (6 comments)
