Even in today's Tucson Real Estate economy, it is still a good time to buy a home, whether new construction or resale homes. For potential buyers with good credit and some down payment money, some real estate agents say the next six to eight months could present a unique window of opportunity. Interest rates are at historic lows (last weeek the national ave. was 5.1% for 30-yr. fixed rated and 4.85% for 15 yr fixed rate) Also, home prices continue to decline. According to statistics, the home prices in Tucson are close to what they were in 2004. ;)
