fun: Twitter Followers and New Pictures. - 03/24/10 05:12 AM
Two different topics that go together. I have been working very hard on increasing my on-line image. I have updated websites, and worked hard to grow my twitter and Facebook following. I really don't jive with twitter like I do with Facebook, but it is great for networking and finding folks you might not ever find any other way. I went up from 14 followers yesterday to 50 today. I did this by clicking on some local media twitter people that I follow and clicking on people that follow them...then they reciprocate. Pretty cool. So, maybe I'll make new friends.

fun: About being a FACEBOOK Fanpage Mayor - 02/22/10 04:13 AM
On Friday, I read Bob Haywood's blog: I'm the New Mayor In Town He had been to the ActiveRain Camp in Dallas and they said start a Facebook Fan page for your local community. He crafted a fan page for his town in Oklahoma, and it was off to a great start, so he posted about his success with it.
I read the blog, and commented on it. I jumped to it, and started a Crosby, TX fan page. That was noon on Friday. Last check, about 5 minutes ago, we already have 375 fans!!!

The first year I taught, (a very long time ago), Madison's Grandma was my classroom aide. She is a great lady that did much to make me the great professional that I am now.
