I noticed a home today owned by real estate broker (with an out of town address)  has just had another price reduction.  
a few other details I observed:
 
The home has been on the market for 748 days The owner/broker is currently the listing agent and has been trying to sell it himself for over a year. The owner/broker had the property listed with another broker previously and after that listing expired the broker/owner RAISED the price $455,000 The current price is now $605,000 less than the price it was at with the … (0 comments)

I get so disgusted when I see people get beat up or killed in public places and nobody is willing to put themselves at risk for their neighbor.  
WHY!
BECAUSE THE VICTIMS TURN AROUND AND SUE THE GOOD SAMARITANS OR SOMEHOW MANAGE TO PUNISH A GOOD DEED.
Have you seen this news story of the McDonald'd employee who is being denied workman's compensation?
Fast food giant McDonald's has denied workers compensation benefits to a minimum wage employee who was shot when he ejected a customer who had been beating a woman inside the restaurant    READ IT HERE

WELLS FARGO DOWN 25% .... - 02/20/09 01:05 PM
...as the Great Depression of the 21st Century Begins...
...Stock is now trading at $9.15 after dipping under $9.00.  Thus Wells Fargo joins GE as a penny stock.
I might add that I used to bank with Wells Fargo but when I tried to get a loan for a used car ( a piddly $4000.00) they turned me down.  I went to B of A and they gave me money for 3 cars.  I switched to B of A. 

UPDATE: WFC is now $11.14 -- Did I call the bottom? Is Lazarus a Contrary Indicator? ( I dont think so … (9 comments)

I am going to say it here. ( I have been saying it privately amongst my friends and family).
Yesterday upon market close I said to myself "it's here, we're in it now"
We have entered the "GREAT DEPRESSION" of the 21st Century.
Let's not forget folks, I was nearly a year early in announcing the Official Beginning of the Recession.

...Pretty much sums up the real estate game for the majority of those I know in this industry.  Sure, there are some that are not sitting in the "shadow of death" --- like those handling REOs on the listing side, to whom the banks have given dozens, or in some cases HUNDREDS of listings. We had one agent here in town who had over 700 REOs listed at one time (Obama, where are you --- let's spread the wealth around).
Most Realtors© are experiencing TOO MUCH MONTH AT THE END OF THE MONEY and are working harder than ever for less.

Recession Forces Fresno REAL ESTATE Broker to Shop For Oil Change Normally I would just drop off my vehicle at Michael Toyota and being a “preferred customer” they would change my oil for $29.95 plus tax ( — every oil change is quoted PLUS TAX).  But when I called Michael Toyota I found out that I was no longer a preferred customer.  It has nothing to do with the fact that we drove across town to Bingham  last last year to lease my wife’s car.  No, apparently there was an expiration date on my Preferred Customer Card and my preferred customer … (0 comments)
