It is extremely difficult keeping perspective when life strikes you hard with a problem that seems impossible. A problem so great you feel it’s the end of you.
Events we experience superficially change our perspective where one moment your life was fine and the next moment a problem hits which changes your perspective into negativity, gloom, and doom.  Your outlook immediately shifts into a negative perspective. Too often we underestimate the power of a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, or the smallest act of kindness/caring, all of which has the potential to turn a life around. Caring isn't a response, it's a cause.
It may not be enough to feel you care, you will need to be willing to take some action that can help another person. I feel when you are a caring person, you attract other caring people into your life.
