Yes, yes, I know, every day is a new day.  But today is, especially.
Yesterday was filled with challenging news -- the proposed financial bailout legislation failed, the stock market took a large hit, my prospecting didn't get me very far, and it rained. 
Today, however, dawned bright and as I stood on the deck watching the sun rise this morning, drinking coffee, I realized that yesterday was now history and that today was what I had in front of me.  The bailout will be in the news for days and/or weeks to come, the stock market will run its course, and … (13 comments)

As I sat in my nice home this evening, eating a snack, listening to the television in the background, hearing the hum of the dishwasher running, reading an online version of our local newspaper, I ran across an article about the economy.  No, not about the bailout or the cost of the war in Iraq, nor about the fact that new home sales were down in August.  About the economy -- about how the hard times that we are all living through have the food pantries in local communities scrambling.  While many of the people in all of our local communities … (0 comments)

Is a "Marketing Partner" a Good Lead Source? - 09/14/08 08:46 PM
We have all worked with Marketing Partners before - they come in many shapes and sizes.  For the sake of this blog, we are referring to one marketing partner that many agents have tried - a company that publishes real estate ads, who periodically gets a lead hit and forwards it to us "and other active agents" in the area.  Out of respect, we'll keep the names nameless, and I'm sure it's a different name in everyone's different locations.
