Do you ever find yourself in a rut? Sometimes it seems like business comes to a stand still, especially in this economy. The best thing you can do is "make it happen" for yourself. There are so many things you can do to promote yourself that are relatively inexpensive. One of the things I recently did paid off for me. I designed and ordered 1000 great postcards from Vistaprint.com for less than $80. I targeted "For sale by Owners" and rode neighborhoods looking for my prospects. Bathroom decorating/home staging is so important. Bathrooms help sell homes, especially the master bath. Make sure you clean out ALL the clutter!! You ALWAYS want to have your master bath sparkling clean, windows and mirrors included. Add a simple flower arrangement, fragranced soaps and a few new spa towels and you have it! Remember if you have your home for sale, people are there to imagine themselves in the house so remove the personal items. A simple, clean look always works. Girl's rooms are fun!! Remember to mix patterns, textures and colors. Girls grow up quick and they change their minds like the wind. Choose colors that can be changed easily. I love to use contrasting colors on the walls and the bedding. The green color choice in this picture can easily be changed in a few years by adding all white bedding with some splashes of color for accessories easily converting this little girl's room to older, young ladies room that will carry her through several years.
