Hello AR fellow prayers. I need you all to pray for me. I have fibromyalgia. I have been doing so well, lots of prayer, medication and more prayer. Unfortunately the last few days I have been gradually feeling worse. Last night I didn't sleep at all, I was restless and in pain. I need patience with my children (13,15, and19) and my husband and the energy to endure the day. I pray that Jesus would heal me. The Lord is so good! As many of you know my nephew Kevin (he will be 21 this month) had his last chemo treatment for burketts lymphoma over Thanksgiving. He was home and doing well. His cancer is gone but the last several days he was tired. Friday night and Saturday he had to have several blood transfusions and bags of platelets, he was also running a fever. He was at a hospital close to his house because they didn't want him to travel all the way to Santa Monica. He was released and last night his fever shot to 104. He is now back in … (7 comments)

This is so beautiful I just wanted to share it with everyone today. When I read it it reminded me that I am powerless with out God, but he will care for me. He's telling us to "Be Still". Hello Everyone,Kevin goes in for his last round of chemo on Today. Unfortunately he will be in the hospital for 5 days so he will not be able to be with us on Thanksgiving. The good news is he is done after this week and we are so excited that he has made it through this with very little side effects or problems. Hello All, Just wanted to let everyone know Kevin is Cancer Free! His PET CT Scan came back clean with no Cancer showing in his spine, hip or Lymph Gland. There was a small spot that showed up in the lymph gland and after further review it was determined to be scar tissue. His is currently at USLA to finish the last part of his third round of chemo. His blood count was a little low so he had to wait a couple days and have another transfusion before he could start. He should be home by the end of the week … (1 comments)

The Lord Listens and Answers our Prayers sometimes even faster than we expect. I was in my "warrior mom" prayer group today and we asked not only for Kevin to be in remission but for him to be completely healed and all the cancer to be gone. I know with stage 4 cancer That Jesus would be the one Physician who could do this miracle. Four hours later Kevin Called to say the rest of the cancer in his neck is gone. He had just found out! I'm so thankful to report that this stay for Kevin in the hospital is turning out so positive. He had a PET Scan, which the preliminary reports are showing as NO cancer in the spine and NO cancer in the hip the only cancer left is in his neck at 1cm and shrinking! God can do great things! He is very tired from the treatments and of course a restless bored 20 year old but otherwise is doing very well. Thank You for the continues support and prayers.

I just joined a Moms Warrior Prayer Group at my sons school. I have never been a part of something like this. We pray for the school, the teachers, the kids and each other. The kids also have boxes in their bible class that they can put their request in and we pray for all of those big or small. It is such a blessing and I just want to give Praise to the Lord for having me be a part of the group. I had no intention of staying that first day. Hello Everyone, Just wanted to give you a little update. Kevin is doing well however he is in Riverside Community Hospital but is coming home in the morning. He was running a low grade fever and not feeling to well. (the effects of his blood count being low). Dr. Eradate does not want us to take a chance driving all the way to Santa Monica when he has a fever as it can be too risky if we wait to start him on antibiotics. Kevin is out of his comfort zone being at Riverside since they do not seem to have the cancer routine … (3 comments)

Hi all, Just an update on Kevin: He went back into the hospital yesterday and started his second round of chemo. He will be in there for about 4-5 days and then home for a few days, then back in for a few days(busy I know). This past Friday he had an Ommaya Reservoir(port, shunt) put into his head, that is where they will be administering the brain and spinal fluid chemo. First of all thank you for your continued prayers for my nephew Kevin. I have been sending him scripture. He believes in Jesus, but I'm not sure he knows the Lord. I'm looking for suggestions to send him offering strength, comfort, hope. I will be seeing him in a few weeks and I pray to have a lot to talk with him about. Date: Friday, September 19, 2008, 12:08 PM Hi all, Kevin finished his first round of Chemo on Wednesday and is now just home to re-cover from it so he can start the second round. He will be going to the doctor for regular check-ups but it will be 2-3 weeks before he goes back for more chemo considering nothing goes wrong(fever, blood cell count, etc.). This Just came in from Kevin's Parents: Just wanted to let everyone know that Kevin is still doing great. He went back to UCLA Friday for his chemo treatment and was supposed to come home today but they are keeping him because is toxin level is high. His Dr. has been at a seminar for Lymphoma over the weekend and we look forward to him coming back so we can talk to him more about Kevin. I just want to thank the Lord for hearing all our prayers! My nephew Kevin who is being treated for Burkitts, an aggressive cancer is doing very well. Hes tired and lost about 10 pounds but that is the worst of it so far. He has had several rounds of chemo but had to have a strong 24 hour round the other day and we expected him to be sick, but he came though, Jesus is watching over him. This is an update as of sept 4th Good news! We received the results of Kevins 2 CT scans today and they were negative. That means they did not see any enlarged lymph glands or tumors anywhere else. We are still waiting for his bone marrow results and the results of his PT scan which shows the active cancer cells and where they are located. Kevin started his Chemo last night and so far feels fine. They will also be starting chemo on his spinal and brain fluid as Burkitts is known to attack these areas, so they start the chemo whether … (2 comments)
