When I started out with my latest buyers for their Bristow Virginia home search, a new home in Victory Lakes was the last thing they were considering. Given the current housing market in Bristow Virginia, oversupply of homes for sale, they wanted to buy as much of a home as possible. Like many others they thought they could get the best deal with a short sale or foreclosure and were willing to wait for the bank to approve and put in some elbow grease if needed. Gainesville Virginia - Foreclosures and Short Sales - 07/16/09 01:05 PM
The rise in foreclosures and short sales has even touched the homes for sale in the Gainesville VA  market.  Since May 2008, foreclosure filings are up 2.3 percent across Virginia.  Foreclosure filings are down nearly 14 percent over the previous month. Overall, in April and May, Virginia ranked 14thin foreclosure rate amongst the 50 states, according to RealtyTrac.
Currently there are 164 Single Family Homes listed for sale in the Gainesville VA MLS
