The Des Moines-West Des Moines, Iowa, housing market is ranked 4th by Inman News for a metro area that is expected to “outshine many other markets in real estate performance this year.” The report looked at rising real estate volume sales, low foreclosure activity, appreciating sales prices, home affordability, and growing job markets in areas with populations over 150,000.

Raleigh-Cary, NC Wichita, Kan. Rochester, NY Des Moines-West Des Moines, Iowa Chattanooga, Tenn.-Ga.
