I had a friend who mentioned they wanted to move next spring. They had a huge list of things they really thought they had do to their home before it would sell. My friend said, "But if someone would buy it for $xxx, we'd fill up 2 PODs and get it on the market this year!"
When I did the comps, it was a VERY reasonable, marketable request. They really didn't need to do the upgrades they thought they needed. To be comparable to other homes in the neighborhood, they didn't have to change the bathroom fixtures. What they had would be "comparable" … (0 comments)
