I recently spoke with a prospective client regarding the possibility of buying a home in and around the northern Virginia area. From this conversation, I realized that living in and around northern Virginia can mean different things to different people. In I0 years of real estate, I have had the pleasure of working with some awesome listing agents. Not only were they a pleasure to work with, they respectfully represented their seller clients and took extreme care in protecting the interest of the sellers from beginning to end. What I admire most about these agents is their ability to work diligently on behalf of the sellers, while maintaining mutual respect for the buyers and the buyer's agent. I feel lucky that I did not know any of the victims from the 9-11 attacks. However, that did not stop my heart from aching or the tears from running down my face as I watched the 9-11 coverage this weekend. I hurt…not only for the victims of 9-11...but for the family members and friends they left behind. As we remember the tragedies of 9-11 and all that it means to each of us, I pray that you are strengthened and comforted each day forward. August 2011: In the month of August, 110 new condo listings were added to the MLS (multiple listing service) in Alexandria. These listings include a total of 52 new condo listings in Alexandria's Fairfax County and 58 new condo listings in the City of Alexandria. Of these new listings, a total of 71 units remain active. This list includes 36 new condo listings in Alexandria, Fairfax County and 35 new condo listings in the City of Alexandria.
