Pappy's Riverside Restaurant in Blairsville, GA for a great breakfast! - 12/30/10 03:53 PM
Pappy's Riverside Restaurant is located on the Nottely River in Blairsville Ga. This rustic restaurant is known for its Old South Traditional Slow Smoked Bar-B-Que, as well as aged Char Broiled Steaks. But today we were headed to Pappy's for breakfast, and get some of the best pancakes around. Of course that will be on top of our eggs, biscuit, gravy, fried potatoes and plenty of hot coffee for this chilly December morning. They had the fire going, but our favorite place to sit is by the glass windows overlooking the river. Pappy’s Riverside Restaurant serves lunch & dinner and

A must have... WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE HOLIDAY FOOD TABLESo grab that cup of eggnog and read along with us as the wise Realtor, Michael Bergin in Alexandria, VA said...Have one for me. Have two. It's later than you think - It's Christmas!!! Via Michael Bergin, Northern Virginia Real Estate (Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage - ABR - SRES ): Words of Wisdom for the Holiday Food Table 1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they're serving rum balls.

The winter snow came early to Murphy, NC as Cherokee County and the surrounding higher elevations had up to 10 inches on the mountain. Lower elevations had up to six inches of the wonderful white stuff that covered our beautiful little town with a blanket of white. Believe it or not there were no power outages reported in Murphy, NC so we all were warm and cozy inside. Snowball fights anyone? Want to enjoy Mountain Living in all four of our seasons?
