The General Assembly of North Carolina has passed Senate Bill 683 SL 2010-177. This is more great news for Cherokee County, NC and property owners selling their land with existing permits in hand. See the updated chart below as this revised bill has extended the permits for another year. There's no paperwork or cost involved so make sure to stop in your building (or health) department where your permit was issued, and find out if your property is affected by this new bill and have it extended on paper. The General Assembly of North Carolina has passed Senate Bill 831, “An act to extend certain government approvals affecting the development of real property within the state".
