For Sale By Owner sellers are required by the Texas Property Code Sec. 5.008 to give prospective buyers a Seller's Disclosure. Many such sellers have no idea they are required by law to provide this information to their potential buyers. It is a simple 5 page form and covers all aspects of the home including electrical, plumbing, utilities, roof, repairs, flooding, fire, foundation, etc., etc., etc. It is very thorough and should be completed carefully.
