I am so often asked, "How's the real estate market?" that I plan to offer a monthly snapshot for those who are interested in Rockport, TX and Fulton, TX real estate.
The market in January was slightly slower than in Dec. 2011. 30 single family homes were sold in December, while only 14 were sold in January. The median sale price was slightly lower. December's median was $202,500, while January was $185,750.

Buyers have asked this question over the years and I thought it would be a good idea to discuss it in my blog. Of course builders inspect the properties before offering them to the public and try to correct everything on the "Punch List", but things can be overlooked.
