I recently blogged about a short sale I have listed where we had a very strong offer and the bank told me "OUR BANK POLICY IS TO NOT ACCEPT SHORT SALES". "OUR BANK POLICY IS TO NOT ACCEPT SHORT SALES" - This is the exact words in an email I just received from Tier One. The entire package had been submitted and at first I was told by Tier One that the net proceeds were not enough and it would have to be within a certain range in order for them to consider accepting it. When I accomplished getting them the amount they stated they needed to net I was instructed to submit a new HUD and it would be submitted for approval.
