Last night, I attended a networking reception held by the Camden County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Verizon.  The event was held at the Victor Lofts in Camden, NJ.  The Victor is in a building where Victrolas used to be manufactured.  It's an interesting building. 
During the reception, I met some great people who have small business and services that are worth mentioning.  So I will used this space to mention some of those great small business owners.

Last night, I stood in m house and after the trumpets stopped blaring, I made the following pronouncment.
"Tonight is the last day that you will see this unshaven face until the first day of Winter 2009.  The King has spoken.  Please govern yourselves accordingly"

I was watching the news this morning and I saw an interesting story.  The story reported that a laptop is lost or stolen every 12 seconds according to statistics from the FBI.   Once a laptop is gone, FBI statistics state there is only a 3% chance of recovery. 
If you are like me, you depend on the information on your laptop.  Of course we all know that we should back up important documents which are housed on our laptops....but how many people really do??  That's a story for another day.

I remember trying to write my first post.  I remember thinking, what in the world am I going to write about? So what has been going on with residential real estate in Mount Laurel, NJ over the last month (February 2009)?  There has been a decrease in the number of single family houses sold as well as a slight decrease in inventory.  As a result, the supply of single family homes has increased from 13.5 months to 22 months.  There are currently 17 single family homes in the pending status which may close within the next 30 days.
