Well I Finally Did It
Leander McClain has finally jumped ship.  Exit Realty treated me well during my formative years in Real Estate.  I am thankful for all that I learned from my first two brokers Chris Spada & Larry Walker.  In some cases, I learned what to do....in others, I learned what not to do.

A collection of 500 items, some dating back to the mid 1800s, will be sold at a public auction tomorrow.
Saturday, October 4, 2008, an auction will be held by the last remaining heir of the Anderson Family, Barbara Negy.  The items belonged to the Anderson Family, which has had a presence in Burlington City since the 1850s. The family once owned Anderson Automotive, currently an antique shop on High Street, and Anderson's Drugs, currently Wheatley's Pharmacy, said auctioneer Chris Doerner of 21st Century Antiques.

Our local housing market has followed the expected downward trend this year.  Early predictions of recovery this year appear to be incorrect.  Many experts agree that the market has reached or is near the bottom.  However, there is no agreement when conditions will approve.   Prices in Burlington County have dropped 4% and the number of sales have dropped 15% over the last 12 months.

The annual Black Family Heritage Festival is coming back to Burlington City this weekend, and it is bigger than ever before. The festival is now a 3-day event, with a golf outing and jazz concert Friday night, a parade and free music along the riverfront promenade on Saturday, and a Gospel celebration on Sunday.
