Let me tell y'all how my day started yesterday.  I was driving through a parking lot, when a car ahead of me started to drive across my path.  I took my eye off the road for a split second to see what the other driver was doing.  When I turned back around, the following happened in slow motion......

This is the time that many people make New Years resolutions.  Many times resolutions are made on or before January 1st and broken by February 1st.  Several years ago, I made a change.  I stopped making new years resolutions in the traditional manor.  First of all, I no longer wait until January 1st to start my goals for the New Year.  I usually start somewhere in the middle of November.  Secondly, I stopped setting myself up for failure.  What I mean by that is, I stopped setting particular health and money goals.  You … (12 comments)

Have you ever seen a kid in a candy store?  So many choices.  So many limitations.
Life is just like being a kid in a candy store.  You really CAN have whatever you like.  The question is, are you willing to do what it takes to get what you want?  The kid is first faced with a limitation.....Candy costs and he has a limited supply of money.

Are You a VULTURE or a SPARROW?
One of the things that we all have to do from time to time is to be honest with ourselves.  We have to look in the mirror and determine if like what we see. 
I always contend that we become similar to the people that we associate with.  If you associate with vultures, YOU are probably a vulture.  Vultures seldom attack healthy animals, but may kill the wounded or sick. They gorge themselves when prey is abundant, till they are full.  They they sit, sleepy or half torpid, to digest their food.
