Lemon juice can be used for so many different situations around the home! Because of lemons acidity they are perfect for some tough cleaning jobs and are somewhat antiseptic and antibacterial. Here are some great ideas for using lemon juice around the house:
If you have light colored countertops and they become stained with kool-aid, wine, food stains, etc just pour a little lemon juice on the stain and let stand for a few minutes. I don't know about you but no matter how hard I try I always get spatters in my microwave or something blows up in my microwave. Hhmmm, Liam learned that it's really cool to put a marshmallow in the microwave to watch it expand - besides, he wanted smores! Well, the marshmallow expanded alright - it exploded! YUCK!

It's been a while since I have posted any Green Tips and I have run across quite a few lately! Here is one that I just tried out today and it worked beautifully in the kitchen! I hope that you give it a try and have as much success as I did!
Recipe for Slow Drainer Cleaner
1/2 c. baking soda
2 c BOILING water
1/2 c vinegar
