Well, another story has come across the wire regarding a Homeowners Association and their reign over a neighborhood. For those of you local it comes as NO surprise that we are experiencing one of the worst droughts on the record books! Those of you out of the state? Trust me - it is a daily topic of discussion among residents!Wakefield Plantation is a 2,200 acre development in North Raleigh. I don't know about all of you but I have several blogs that I try and keep up with. There is, of course, Welcome To My Back Yard that is, by far, my favorite! Then, there is The Pink Oyster. What is a Pink Oyster? Honestly, I don't know, ask my son. When I created the blog I wanted a funky name. I came up with lists of random words. One list was colors and another was just words.....threw them all at my son and he picked The Pink Oyster. The Pink Oyster is geared more towards Wakefield Plantation. I try to

You know, I pride myself on knowing the "odd" things in life, the little tid-bits that you can throw out at a party - I call them my little "Pearls of Wisdom". For the longest time I use to throw out this one... Why is it that when you buy a bag of nuts in the store there are never any cashews yet when you buy mixed nuts in a can they are in there? I know, doesn't bother many of you but it did me! Well, had to research and come to find out - cashew shells are highly caustic

TMI - TOO MUCH INFORMATION! I always wrestle with what to put in MLS, on outside flyers, on the website, etc. I have asked several well-respected associates in the past and the answer is always different. One line of thinking is that if you put all the info "out there" whether it be on a flyer in the info box in front of the house or on your website then what is the incentive for a potential buyer to actually come and see the house for themselves? Do you put the price on the flyers? Do you put square footage? Where
