Wow, there has been so much happening in Wake Forest NC leading up to this week that it gotten a bit quiet here! Not much will be happening this week but there are a few announcements to make.
Town Hall ClosedThursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25The Wake Forest Town Hall and other administrative offices will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Wake Forest bus service and sanitation schedules will be affected. Click here to learn more. (919) 554-6100

Christmas is right around the corner and I have been witness to some of the most amazing display of lights in the area - they just leave you breathless! And the smells? It been absolutely beautiful this past week in Wake Forest NC and according to the forecast we are in for a real treat this upcoming week! A few raindrops mid-week but a great weekend on tap which is the perfect reason to get out and enjoy all that Wake Forest NC has to offer!
The always wonderful Art After Hours is this upcoming Friday as is the Mistletoe Market - Holiday Fair! Both are a great opportunity to pick up some one of a kind gifts! AND - you definitely can't miss the Chili Cookoff!

Wow - the temps sure did take a dip in Wake Forest NC this past week! I wimped and turned the heat on and put the flannels on the bed!
As for events? Well, as always residents were still out in full force for all the fun albeit a little more bundled up that usual...... This upsoming week has some great activities in store for just about everyone! The extremely popular Halloween Spooktacular takes place this week and we have the MOST AMAZING OktoberFest this upcoming weekend - be sure to look for a detailed post about that one!
