Wake Forest NC Parks and Recreation Offers Swim Lessons - Register NOW!Staring June 1, 2012, Wake Forest NC Parks and Recreation will be opening registration for Swim Lessons. Registration will be held at the Wake Forest NC Town Hall at 301 S. Brooks St. These group lessons (4 per group) are taught by certified Town Staff and offered for several age groups. There are classes for preschoolers (ages 3-5), Beginners (ages 6 and above) and Advanced Beginners. Classes meet Monday - Thursday for one week and each session is 45 minutes. Several sessions are available this summer.

Clearly the market has become more active since the same time period last year in Percentage of List Price received and Pending Sales but remains a little uncertain with both Average and Median Sales Prices. Another great indicator of a rebounding market is the number of closed sales.
February 2012 had a +12.5% increase in Homes that Closed compared with February 2011. It is important to keep in mid that the Days on Market though has increased. Both the Median Sales Price and the Average Sales Price for Wake Forest NC Real Estate decreased since the same time period last year. The Median Sales Price decreased by -10.0% and the Average Sales Price decreased by -2.9%.

On most Listings Appointments I bring up the Absorption Rate of Wake Forest NC and I am more often than not met with a glazed over look like I am talking jibberish. Wake Forest NC has a vast variety of homes for sale from Townhomes to Estate Homes! There are different styles, sizes, and neighborhood locations available but two price points have consistently remained the most robust and those are the $200,000 - $299,999 and $300,000 - $399,999 price range.
There were 537 Active Listings on the Market in Wake Forest NC in February of 2012 which is down -32% when compared with February 2011. Of those total Active Listings in Febraury 2012 close to half of them (48%) were within the $200,000 - $400,000 price point.
