Once again Historic Wake Forest NC will provide a beautiful back drop for this years 6th Annual Gobblers Run 5K Family Event!
The course is open to walkers and joggers and pets and strollers are more than welcome! The Course is mostly flat and loops through both residential and commercial historic districts. There Will be one water stop at the mid-point of the course. The race will begin promptly at 8:00 am!

The second Sunday of every month the American Legion Post 187 hosts an All You Can Eat Sausage and Pancake Breakfast. You'll find Sausage, Pancakes, Orange Juice and a Hot Beverage for $5 per person or $20/max per family. The proceeds from the breakfast will support community and veteran projects.
The breakfast will be served from 8am - 1pm this Sunday, November 8.
American Legion Post 187 is located directly across the street from the post office at 225 E. Holding Avenue.

Big Fat Gap was originally scheduled to perform at the E. Carroll Joyner Park back on August 2 but was rescheduled due to inclement weather! No worries! The rescheduled event is going to take place this weekend on Sunday, August 30 from 5pm - 7pm!
Local to Chapel Hill NC Big Fat Gap is a "back porch" style bluegrass band that has tremendous harmonies! This concert event is sure to be a hit with all ages so be sure to bring your friends and neighbors!
