money: Poverty hits the middle class - 05/20/10 12:46 PM
Most of us know what it is to be broke. Either we have experienced it personally or we know somebody who has been or is broke. Being broke is just a temporary stage in life when a person doesn't have the money they need for a need, want or desire. Poverty is an entirely different animal. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Poverty refers to the condition of not having the means to afford basic human needs such as clean water, nutrition, health care, education, clothing and shelter.[1][2] This is also referred to as absolute poverty or destitution. money: Modest Income Earners - 12/23/09 12:52 AM
If you have a modest lifestyle, this may not apply to you. Just heard a credible man talk about his journey to $4,000,000 a year income after starting at $38,000 as a Football coach. He came to his CPA after he received his 1099 for his 3rd year in his business. It was for $243,000. What struck him was he felt like he hadn't really accomplished anything. Well I am of the opinion that all will be fine in 2009. For over 30 years I have been involved in some sort of business on my own and have been having a blast. During the not so good times I learned what not to do and what to do when things got better. Today I believe we

money: Starting over every year - is there a better way? - 03/30/08 11:20 AM
Starting over every year, that's what most of us do. We set our goals and sometimes we make it and sometimes we don't. No matter what the situation, we start over and most of us start with nothing. Most everybody starts each year off at the same place chasing a similar dream. Wouldn't it be great if you were able to start off the year with 25% of the income you earned the previous year. Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about. Just an example Year 1 - you earn $100,000 Year 2 - you start off with $25,000+ you
