buying: Why Clients Fire Real Estate Agents - 04/14/14 08:51 AM
I recently read a blog post where people were ranting about some of the issues they had with real estate agents.

To be very clear, I know that the real estate agents that I work with would never conduct their business this way – but I wanted to share with you what both sellers and buyers have given as the reason they have fired their real estate agent and chosen someone else to represent them.

buying: Do You Warn Your Sellers? - 04/06/14 09:06 AM
I saw a very interesting article where the question was asked "Do you warn your sellers to put their perscription medicine away before a showing or open house?".  I had never really thought about that!  What other advice or warnings do you give to your sellers?

buying: Want Something Different for Your Listing? - 06/13/12 07:48 AM
Everyone has the finance flyers and/or their own property flyer.  But what about trying something different?  Here's what I'm doing for my Realtor's in CA with their listings.  They get not only a hard copy of the flyer but also a link that they can send out to their clients via email, social media, website, mls, put on their signs,  etc.   The possibilities are endless!
Everyone LOVES a bargain and these flyers do just that!  Check it out!  Here's one I did for one agent. This is the audio portion so be sure to have your speakers on to see … (5 comments)

buying: I Just Have to Brag! So Bear With Me. - 02/06/12 09:15 AM
I am just truly amazed at how great our Diamond Express Product is working!  My processor turned in my Diamond Lane loan this morning before 9:00 a.m.  By 1:30 today I received my approval!  Same day as promised!  The only bad part is that we can't go to docs because we'd be out of compliance.  This product is available on most of our loan products from conventional, FHA, and VA!   This was a Homepath product.
Amazing!!!!!!!  Stop waiting around for weeks!  If you're a Realtor, you need us!  If you're a licensed MLO and are looking for a great place to … (0 comments)

buying: Is Your Lender Taking Too Long? Here's a conquer the universe strategy! - 01/02/12 06:52 AM
Are you wanting to buy or sell a home and the lender you're using is taking too long or not returning your phone calls?  I know some people are afraid to use mortgage bankers and brokers vs the "large banks".  But keep in mind, that the mortgage bankers and brokers had to take 20 hours of education, pass a background and credit check, fingerprints, pass a minimum of a state and federal test, and annual 8 hours of continuing education and yearly license renewal.  The 'BIG banks" do not have to do this!
Watch my brief video to show you how this … (0 comments)

buying: When you buy a home, who's your friend? - 12/01/11 09:12 AM
One of the most misunderstood aspects of buying a home is “does the real estate agent REALLY represent you, the home buyer?”

Yes, you do have the right to ask an agent to solely represent you. Here are some FAQs as to what’s involved and why you should consider it when buying your next home, second home or investment property.

1.      What does Buyer Representation mean?  The real estate agent represents your interest.  They are required to be loyal, accountable and not disclose any information about you that you don’t want the seller or the other real … (3 comments)

buying: Whoops there goes another one...... - 08/22/11 05:02 AM
This morning it has been announced the PMI will no longer be writting PMI policies effective today!  Any outstanding PMI commitments must be closed by September 16, 2011.
That's the second mortgage insurance company to exit this month alone.  Is this a trend of the future?  Sounds like it is gearing up to the QRM where it will require 20% down on transactions.
Any thoughts as to how this will affect your business?

buying: Fact or Fiction? This Could Affect Your Buyers and Sellers! - 07/13/11 09:37 AM
I received word this morning that the rumor is that Bank of America has stopped accepting high balance conforming loan amounts over $625,000 on Tuesday, July 12.  We are assuming that this is to ensure they are able to close all the loans over this amount no later then September 30, 2011 when the high balance conforming rate will drop.  Again, this is only a rumor and I would highly suggest that if you have a client that is prequalified with Bank of America that this holds true.  I am not surprised by their move and I believe we will begin … (2 comments)
