In some real estate markets, it may be a good time to buy real estate, perhaps.  In Maryland and Northern Virginia, perhaps not.  Simply proclaiming that "IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BUY A HOME" just isn't persuading many prospective home buyers.  Consider some reasons why buyers just aren't buying.

Tagged by Pat Kennedy to reveal five of my favorite books, I'm Kerschmunkled.  How can I name 5 of my   favorite books?  I would have a hard time picking favorite 50 books.  I might even have           a hard time naming 500 favorite favorite books.  But, I'll give it a try.  Where to start?  The following are a few that I "couldn't put down".  Centennial.  James A. HOW DO BUILDERS COMPUTE LOT PREMIUMS??  I'm working with a lovely couple that is interested in new construction in a luxury community in Loudoun County, Virginia.  They have eliminated all but two floorplans/models.  So, yesterday, I toured the remaining lots in the community to profile the good and not so good about the lots to help them understand how the lot selection is important in their decisions. 
MOUNTAIN VIEWS, WOODED, WALK-OUT.  There are about 20 lots from which to select.  All are 3-5+ acres.  About 4 of the lots have a mountain view (distant) and about 10 are wooded from 5-30% of … (6 comments)
