Even today, the Short Sale transaction is not always understood by consumers exploring the various real estate sites on the Internet. 
QUESTION:  "SHOULD I CONSIDER A SHORT SALE?  What does that really mean?

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OLD FASHIONED PROPERTY BROCHURE for HOME BUYERS??
In the past week, I have shown about 22 homes for sale.  Not one, not a single one offered a helpful brochure in the home for either agents or buyers touring the home for sale.
OFTEN IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT.  I remember the "good old days" when a helpful property brochure was a matter of pride.  Further, it was also a wonderful way to promote the best features of a home for sale.  If there are service contracts, that's helpful.  Or, perhaps the last time the furnace/heat pump/AC … (13 comments)

RECOMMENDING AN OFFER PRICE CAN BE COMPLICATED - AND RISKY.  While the buyers are thinking, the best homes are likely to go under contract. 
Advising a buyer client about making offers can be tricky.  I just sat down with a lovely couple who are looking at homes in Northern Virginia.  They have reduced the list under consideration down from about 15 homes previewed to 2 that are what they call "A"
Covering the appraisal process is helpful so the buyers can separate themselves from how much they like/want the house to relative value of those 15 different homes.

YES!  I happened to glance out my back window this a.m. and saw the morning sky ablaze with the morning sunrise.  It was 6:50 a.m.  My house faces north so the morning sunrise is almost directly south.
