VA FINANCING GUIDELINES DO NOT LIMIT A SELLERS "CONTRIBUTION" TO A BUYER TO 4%.  That's just the icing on the cake.  That 4% is IN ADDITION to actual closing costs.

Every week/month/year I read an article from a real estate agents that states that seller contribution to the VA qualified buyer can be "up to 4%".  WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.

THE REAL ESTATE IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA market is stabilizing.  Does this show that we have reached the "bottom"?  Only time will tell because the report shows a reduction in the long term downward pricing trends.  However, across the Northern Virginia housing market, prices are stable.
