REAL ESTATE PRICES IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA ARE IMPROVING.  LOWER PRICES MEAN MORE BUYERS. Telephone activity has improved in the past few weeks and appointment calls are definately up.  We are also receiving more calls for Short Sale listing information, a sign of the times.   We are also receiving more inquiries from home buyers interesting in looking at foreclosed properties for sale.  Foreclosures and Short Sales can be a good buy.  We see list prices for these properties at about 10 to 25 percent or more below other homes for sale.
