I can't remember taking this picture in the morning or evening. Whatever time of day, I was impressed with the sunrise or sunset. It was in Sun City Grand in Surprise Arizona. I guess my readers will have to decide when it was taken.  Whatever time of day, it was a Grand day in Sun City Grand!

This is music is just beautiful and inspirational! I don't know the words, but the emotion and love is evident.
A few days ago David D'or the son of a Holocaust survivor, & Dudu Fisher a  three-time winner of the Israeli "Singer of the Year" and "Best Vocal Performer" sang for Pope Benedict XVI.  Joined by the Arab-Jewish Girl's Choir the concert was at Shimon Peres' home.

Second Wave of Foreclosures - 05/27/09 11:12 PM

There is a second wave of foreclosures coming.  The one we have just gone through with all the "financial meltdown" was just the first of up to three waves of foreclosures.  The first one was the subprime mess, with lenders lending to people with subpar credit, that "surprise" did not or could not ultimately pay for the loans they signed up for.

Sun City Texas has very similar amenities as with Sun City Grand.

It was an awesome day, not too hot not too cold, just perfect. All too soon we’ll start experiencing the harsh scorching summer. Whenever it’s over a hundred I frequently wonder why I’ve moved here. The spectacular evening sunsets remind me that I am blessed with good health, after when summer ends we’ll be facing fall and its divine weather.

Why Are You in the Real Estate Business? - 05/27/09 12:17 AM
I met potential buyers at my office at 8am today. The buyers had 2 hours to spare and wanted to see as many swimming pool properties as possible.  After seeing 9 vacant properties, they left on their way to the next retirement community destination.
Tomorrow I will probably receive 4 emails and/or 5 telephone calls asking for feedback.  I'll tell of the listing agents that the buyers are just in the preliminary stage.   These buyers don't even know what state they want to live in, let alone what community.

I'm proud to say that I am an NAU mom!  My son is a graduate of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. I've made numerous trips to Flagstaff while my son attended college. My husband and I have our motor-home parked in Mormon Lake, a small community 25 miles southeast of Flagstaff.
We've spent a few winters in Flagstaff visiting with my son and doing what I like to do best to relax, fish. Fishing on the Mogollion Rim is quite challenging. Taking time away from work relaxing and enjoying the calm placid water can be most comforting.

I was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii  and approximately 41,000 people presently call Hilo their home.  It rains almost every day in Hilo making the land and soil fertile, just stick it in the ground and it grows.  Fruits, tropical flowers and vegetables are seen almost everywhere you turn.  Each weekend farmers markets spring up with vendors selling their home grown products.
I was recently in Hilo and spent some time with family and of course, shopping.  My favorite Farmers Market in Hilo is the  Hawaii Tropical Fruit Growers  market on Kinoole Street.  Directions

WHAT'S YOUR LEGACY? - 05/16/09 12:42 PM
My sister was laid to rest yesterday.  I read her obituary just before leaving for her memorial service.  It read that she was a "private babysitter".  A private baby sitter, is that all she did in her short life of 58 years?  She was a wife, mother and sister. 
Most people would think that a "private babysitter" would not make an impact in this life.  I knew differently and my impressions were quickly confirmed during her memorial service.

This afternoon I visited with a client who works for a large corporation.  He said that many of his fellow employees were placing low-ball offers on short sales and lender owned properties.  They couldn't understand why the banks were not accepting their offers, after all, they had heard and read that it's a buyers market.

When my children were little, they would ask me what I wanted for Christmas or Mother's Day.  I would always say socks.  Socks because they are inexpensive, have a wide variety that causes the child to think about their selection.
