I was showing property this afternoon in Sun City West and came across this beautiful plant.  The homeowner placed the potred plant on the patio close to the backdoor.  There it gets all lots of sunlight yet it is shaded from frost and harsh heat. I guess you could say that the homeowner carefully "staged the patio".

While visiting my hometown in Hawaii a few weeks ago, I played golf at the Mauna Kea Beach Golf Course.  My ball landed on the beach and I climbed down to the beach to retrieve it.  Fortunately I had my camera in the golf cart and got to take a picture of this luxury boat. I reminisced of my trip this week when Surprise Arizona had over 4 inches of rain in ONE day.

I have a closet full of coats that are worn only once a year.  It's been raining all week long and this Wednesday I retrieved one of my favorite jackets from my hall closet.  After I put it on, I stuck my hand into the pocket and found a seven business cards, none of which were mine.  I don't know where I collected the seven business cards from last year.  I spent some time reminiscing about those agents and their cards. 
1.  Two agents are no longer in business.  2.  One agent has since passed away.

Arizona's extreme winter weather is reaping havoc throughout the state.  It was a wild night of rain last night, the worst seen in almost 20 years.  Yesterday alone the cities of Surprise had 3.4 inches of rain and Sun City West had 3.7 inches.

Arizona streets (Maricopa County) cannot accommodate heavy rainfall as what we had yesterday.  Consequently many underpasses were closed yesterday.  The hard clay becomes soggy, swamp-like in areas.  I've had two home inspections in the past 48 hours, both of which had the same problem occurring with the air conditioners.  The air conditioner sits on a platform normally located … (5 comments)

Last night I had dinner with clients who live in Sun City West AZ.  The topic of conversation throughout the dinner table was the 10 new Sun City West Pickleball Courts  and the Grand opening  yesterday at the Palm Ridge Recreation Center.  The R.H. Johnson Recreation Center already had 5 pickleball courts making the total pickleball courts available to Sun City West homeowners as 15.  All courts are available to individuals who possess a current Sun City West homeowners recreation activity card.

When it Rains in Phoenix, Go To Flagstaff - 01/16/10 10:13 PM
In the winter, when  rain is fore-casted for Phoenix, this usually  means that there will be a new powder base layed  at the Arizona Snowbowl. Beginning this week Monday through Saturday, we are  expecting about 1 inch of rain in Phoenix with the Snowbowl projecting  4 feet of new snow.
People of all ages enjoy skiing  and snowboarding at the Snowbowl.  Situated on the San Franscisco peaks which about 15 miles north of Flagstaff, it takes about 2 1/2 hours to get there from Sun City Grand in Surprise. Las Vegas Nevada Phoenix Arizona Route 93 Bridge - 01/10/10 10:25 PM
It's been over five years and soon to be completed is the Mike O'Callaghan - Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.  The $160 million dollar bridge that raises over 900 feet above the Colorado River is scheduled for completion in 2011.  Every time I drive to Las Vegas, I am in total awe with this majestic bridge and its uniqueness.  The drive from Sun City Grand to Las Vegas is approximately 4 1/2 hours.  Once the bridge opens, the drivetime from Surprise Arizona should be reduced to 3 1/5 hours.

It feels good to work and play in harmony.  I watched this video this evening and thought of how this team of entertainers were created in perfect synergy with just two practice sessions. 
It was an amazing harmonious stunt at the Antwerp Belgium Central Train Station.  The passengers passing through the station was not warned.  Bemused, passengers watched in amazement as 200 + dancers began to appear from the crowd and train station entrances as a recording of Julie Andrews singing Do, Re, Miis played on the public address system.

There are 7 golf courses owned by the Sun City West homeowners association, 4 are championship courses & 3 are executive-length courses.  Each of the seven golf courses have swans on their water holes.   A few weeks ago I played golf at Trail Ridge Golf Course in Sun City West.
