I had a Client ask me about the wonderful Real Estate Market and all the gloom and doom that's in the new's everyday towards that end.  "Why should I buy now and not wait until later" was the main question that seemed to keep coming out.  Without any hesitation I told my Client that just like in a down stock market the Real Estate market follows pretty much the same path / process.  In a down market where there's plenty of inventory the buyer (and in some cases's a motivated Seller) can benefit because of the low interest rates that can be found for fixed rates.  My Buyer was curious how a Seller would benefit and my reply was that while a seller isn't here to give away their property the smart seller knows that a lot of other sellers are still stuck on last years prices and going no where quick so if they are reasonable and priced right they too can not only sell their property but purchase another one at a great price as well.  The next time a client (buyer or seller) asks you why should they buy or sell remember this.  Can you say double dip.........
