I AM NOT ON SALE ! - 01/21/11 09:56 AM
 In the Houston Real Estate market when my seller asks me to reduce my commission I simply respond with "I AM NOT ON SALE!".  
I explain to the seller that when you pay less you probably get less.   Example: A Mercedes SL 430 looks just like the SL 600 but they are not the same.   You can't pay for the SL 430 and expect it to perform as well as the SL 600.  The same goes for you Houston Realtor. 
How do you handle it when your seller asks you to discount your services?

Mr./Mrs. Mortgage Broker How Many Referrals Will You Send Me ????? - 01/10/11 07:33 PM
      On a daily basis I get emails, phone calls, linked in requests or facebook friend requests from mortgage brokers in the Houston Real Estate market who lets be honest just want me to refer my buyers to them for their home loan needs.  
     When was the last time a lender referred a buyer/seller who was looking to buy a home in the Houston Real Estate market to me?   I can tell you that a lender has never referred a buyer/seller to me.   As a matter of fact my favorite lender (always gets the job done) reactivated her own real estate license just so … (1 comments)

     The other day I received a sales call.  We all receive these calls every day.  The sales person on the other line wanted me to buy space on their Gay REALTORS website with the promise that they would put me at the top of google.  (Had the sales person completed a search for Houston Gay REALTOR they would have seen that I show up 5 times organicallyon the front page of google.)  I am a firm believer in niche marketing and I market my services heavily to the Houston GLBT community.  But when I am spending my GAY ADVERTISING $$$$$ I always ask … (4 comments)

      Recently a very good Dallas Real Estate Broker friend asked me to help his daughter find a rental in the Houston Real Estate market.  Not only was she considering Houston Single Family homes, Townhomes & condos she was also considering Houston area Apartment Complexes.
