A post on Monday June 14 from Inman News has an interesting summary about the "State of the Nation's Housing" from a report released today by the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University.
The title and sub-title were a bit contradictory "Soft Housing Demand Imperils Recovery" followed by "Harvard Report Optimistic About Long-Term Outlook". home sales: Geneva, IL Market Update: New Contracts Increase 20% - 03/07/10 11:16 PM
Over the past month we see that new sales of homes in Geneva, IL are increasing in the early Spring market. The number of listed homes increased 6% from 277 to 294, but the good news is that the number of homes under contract increased 20% from 38 to 48. The number of closed sales decreased slightly from 21 in January to 18 in February.
