short sale: Homebuyer Tax Credit - 06/17/10 01:02 PM
We had all hoped that the First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit would be extended.  It did not pass the Senate sorry to say.  But, those that did have their contracts signed for a home purchase, have been given an extension to close their purchase.  This is giving purchasers who were in contract by April 30 and trying to purchase a short sale time for those short sales to be approved.  Otherwise they would not meet the June 30 deadline to close.  Good news for those who were able to take advantage of the tax credit with a short sale that has … (0 comments)
