When trying to get approved for a short sale, or loan modification, your lender may require a hardship letter.  The bank wants to understand your situation in order to make a decision.  Learning how to write a hardship letter for your Monterey County Property is a key element in getting out of a bad investment, or making your investment work for you once again.  Please read this post, watch the great video, and if you need help or have questions about a short sale in Monterey County, I would be happy to help you.

Via Lisa Treu (Keller Williams Realty):

The hardship letter is our chance to humanize you and your situation to the lender.  This letter needs to be about your situation.  The hardship letter gives you a voice with the negotiator.  What it is not?  It is not to bash the bank.

A few other tips on writing your hardship letter on your Palm Beach County home:

    1.          It should be one page, no more.

    2.          Write from your heart.

    3.          Be clear, don’t get too complicated.

    4.          Explain the reason you can’t afford to make your mortgage payment.

    5.          Have it reviewed by us before your lender see it.

The Treu Group, your short sale experts,is here to help you avoid foreclosure on your Palm Beach County home.
