Every year in the little city of Marysville Washington there is a festival to celebrate the towns heritage as a large producer of delicious Strawberries. There are rides, games, a parade and all the things you expect to enjoy at a festival/carnival. The waether this year has not been ideal, but if there is a clearing head on over to Marysville middle school where the festival has been held for many years now. If you are out and about in Snohomish county (Everett more specificly) and you are getting hungry you need to stop in and get a slice of pizza at Brooklyn Bros. Pizzeria. This is some of the best pizza you will ever eat. They are located right accross the street on the north side of Comcast arena at the corner of Hewitt and Lombard.
They sell pizza by the slice (and they are huge) whole pies for delivery, and dine-in. Brooklyn Bros. is a casual environment where you can enjoy some awesome pizza!

This is probably our favorite beach to come and play at during the summer. Kayak point has all the best for a day at the beach. Picnic covered areas, long beaches, boardwalk, large well cared for playground, and fields for frisbee, football or whatever. There is a $5.00 charge to park due to the popularity, but it is well worth it for a fun day in the sun. I met with some very nice people today and ate at Mardini's for the first time. I enjoyed the french dip that I had very much, the meat was prepared right, the bread was soft and the Aju was delicous. They have a great bar, and very clean open restaurant. I will definitley go back to Mardini's and we suggest you try them too.
Mardini's has a full bar, but specialize in a large wine selection. There is also out door seating to soak up the Sun and Snohomish scenery.

This is another cool Snohomish county park you should visit. Lake goodwinn park, there is a big picnic area that you can reserve for parties, and just hang out at otherwise.
There is a nice big beach to relax in the sun, and you can go for a swim in the crystal clear water.

There is another outback (Not the steakhouse) that you may not know about that is in Arlington off of Highway 530. This cool Kangaroo farm has more than just Kangaroos, there are Lemurs (See above pic) wallaby's, ostrich', donkey, Allpacha...and more.
A little family interaction. This place is pretty cool. The animals are really used to humans, and not shy at all.
The Kangaroos, and wallaby's are very friendly.
Tour fees are reasonable, and group rates are available. Private parties will be accommodated on request.

One of our favorite places to have lunch in Everett. Just a walking distance from our office and the food is to die for!
One step inside and you are taken to the Mediterranean Coast by the scent of Gyros and mouth-watering baklava, mmmmmm...
