Recently, Lake Havasu was featured on TripAdvisor.com for top vacation destinations. Even during the holiday season you will find Lake Havasu on many people’s top places to vacation. Formed in 1938 just after the Parker Dam was built, Lake Havasu City has become the center-point for many visitors from miles around. It is most famous for the London Bridge that actually did come from London after being purchased by Robert McCullough for $2,460,000 in 1968.
