The 2012 Lake Havasu Boat Show is winding down this weekend but the fun is not! The Lake Havasu Poker Run takes place this Friday, April 27th, 2012 beginning at 7am and continues through Saturday, April 28th with the Desert Storm Shootout and Awards. Here's a rundown of what's happening this weekend so you don't miss a thing:

It's that time of year, folks. The 2012 Lake Havasu Boat Show has arrived! It's fitting that a city known for its fantastic lake hosts one of the biggest boat shows in the Southwest. We do take our water activities seriously around these parts. That's why one weekend isn't enough for a boat show here. Instead, there will be amazing deals, events and fun for everyone from now through Sunday, April 28th.

Today starts the first day of an eventful month for Lake Havasu City. Beginning today in Lake Havasu, you can catch “Cruisin on Main” each Thursday evening at McCulloch Blvd. Admission is always free. The 27th Annual Winterfest will soon begin in Lake Havasu City and everyone is invited. There will be over 200 vendors coming from around the nation. So, bring your family and friends to shop, browse, relax, and enjoy this year’s events. For two eventful days you will be able to enjoy arts, crafts, merchandise, food, a beer garden, children’s activities, and live entertainment.

lake havasu city events: Youth Mardi Gras Fund Raiser in Lake Havasu City - 02/18/10 06:33 PM
The 8th Annual Havasu for Youth fundraiser is scheduled for this Friday, February 19th. And, although tickets sales aren't booming, many are still expecting a great turnout.
There have been over 140 tickets sold so far.
Tickets can be purchased for $40 and include a Cajun dinner complete with lemon butter tilapia and blackened chicken, red beans and rice, cornbread and King cake.
The event will be held at Lake Havasu City's London Bridge Resort Convention Center at 7:00pm. There will be an action featuring an automated scooter, an autographed basketball, a bracelet, a $750 spa-treatment, tickets to the Phoenix Zoo … (3 comments)
