Even if no one's really talking about it, there's a lot going on out in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego nowadays...
Currently there are only 29 properties priced at or under $400,000. Currently there are 19 properties in the same price range sitting in (escrow) pending status, because a little more than half of these transactions are distressed sales.
In the last 90 days there have been 22 sold listings at or under the $400,000 price mark in Carmel Valley. Those same properties in this category are all attached, even though those recovering property values are inherent to the … (0 comments)

First time home shoppers make $8000 in the next 2 weeks! - 04/13/10 12:58 AM
Okay, we all know we're talking about the tax credits for first time home buyers, right?
It seems a lot of first timers are giving up shopping, maybe because they thought they had to close escrow by April 30th, but just to clarify, for those who have been misinformed... you have to have a signed contract by the end of April and close that escrow before July 1st, 2010.
There are also some updates on other tax credits, at least if you miss that deadline and decide you want to buy a brand "new" home. The "New Home" credit begins May 1, 2010. Check out … (0 comments)
