Well, here we are in January 2012, and in this first quarter of the year we are looking at a lot of attached inventory available in Rancho Bernardo for one reason or another. There are currently 146 attached properties that are active, 43 of them priced at $200,000 and below. The lowest priced condo on the market is in the 92127 zip code and is priced at only $139,998, most likely a short sale, but still in a very desirable community. Mixed in the inventory there is about 17% age-restricted properties, which means you need to be at least 55

rancho bernardo: Spirit of the 4th is coming soon to Rancho Bernardo, July 2011 - 06/23/11 01:57 AM
Summer is a time for traditional outings like no other, because we all love celebrating our country’s independence day. The fireworks displays are just a fantastic radio show coordinated spectacle that we all love to listen to, watch and enjoy together as a community. A pancake breakfast in Webb park begins at 7:30am. It should be yummy… And don’t forget the Wheels of Freedom motor show. Also, enjoy checking out the vendor and craft booths in between the pancake breakfast and the 4th of July parade. The parade will start at 3:30 in the afternoon, so if you’re planning to go and watch

Well, in my last blog I said I’d be bringing you more market information about the attached homes in the 92127 and 92128 areas. Lets start with contingent properties, meaning they are all short sales with offers waiting for the short sale lenders to approve the sale, before starting the escrow process. In this report, we have 26 properties in contingent status in the 92127 area, also in the 92128 zip code area, there are 29 properties in contingent status. In pending status, there are 51 properties and the smallest is a 688 square foot condominium in the Villa Taviana

Are you looking for a condominium in Rancho Bernardo? I am. You see it's that time for us; we're almost to the empty nest syndrome, so we are looking for a place for our daughter to live. That being said, it turns out she happens to like living in this area where she grew up and we would love it if she could stay in the area. So, here was our experience in the last 2 weeks... we've seen several places, and we're finding out that there are all sorts of varieties and combinations of communities in the area. There are also

rancho bernardo: A college campus in Rancho Bernardo? Isn't it really just about the money? - 06/21/10 08:15 PM
Have you heard that Palomar College purchased some choice land in Rancho Bernardo. here's the news story, do you see anything in it about the added congestion that the student traffic will cause in nearby Westwood? Wasn't it enough that an elderly gentleman has already lost his life near that intersection???The city hasn't even built the side walk out to that entrance. It doesn't seem like they will take responsibility for his life either, but that subject seemed to just get swept under the carpet when it happened. I was talking to a close friend who lives in the Westwood area recently

rancho bernardo: San Diego, Don't You Love Farmers' Markets? - 05/04/10 05:31 PM
It's that time of year again, where the days are longer and the fresh fruits and vegetables are ready for picking! I was driving down Bernardo Center Drive today and noticed a farmer's market I hadn't seen before. Wow! It's so exciting that it's become so mainstream for all of us Rancho Bernardans. I knew they had one at the winery on Friday mornings, but one on a Tuesday afternoon? YES! I'm so happy that it's here. Check out the rest of San Diego's Farmers' Markets. Get out enjoy the sun and the summer; it's right around the corner!

rancho bernardo: That Fish Was So Big, They Should of Named Her Wanda!!! - 01/05/10 04:28 PM
Did you see the big fish story today, it's about a giant tuna that was caughtand sold for $177,000!!! Isn't that amazing and yet when I searched the San Diego multiple listing service, there were only 24 condominiums available in the inland corridor that can be had for the same amount of money or less. Granted, you can't live in a fish, but the people who bought that tuna will probably make a lot of money from reselling parts of it to restaurant patrons that enjoy eating sushi or I should say, sashimi in a very short amount of time, at
