Memorial Day Weekend - 05/24/07 04:25 PM
Celebrate memorial day by remembering the troops this weekend. While we all differ in our feelings on political and religious views, no other country in the world offers the freedoms that we offer. Make sure that you pray for the families and friends of those that have lost loved ones serving in all of our wars to allow us to keep our freedoms. Many people may feel that we don't belong in certain wars. The reality is that we still need to support our current soldiers and those who have served in wars before us.

Sure this house costs $3,500,000 dollars. If you're relocating to Saint Charles, I can help you with an integrous realtor. When working in these price ranges, note that there are a myriad of options. Basically the ideal situation on a high end home like this would to have a maximum mortgage. I've dealt wiht many whom have had the ability to pay for the home in cash. But if the homebuyer can buy cash, it'd still be in the best interest to have a loan that maxes out at the hightest loan limit of say....80%. By not buying this home … (8 comments)

Loans for our Troops....and our Ex-Troops - Military Loans - 05/14/07 10:52 PM
If you're a veteran, a reservist or have served our country in some armed services capacity, we can probably do a loan for you. What's so great about V.A. loans is that you can put no money down and have no PMI or private mortgage insurance as well. This is huge. The government doesnt do a lot of things well, but they do take care of their vets through the use of their VA program.

I'm a life coach as well as a coach within the industry. Im also the VP of Cherry Creek Mortgage and married to a wonderful wife for 10 years. We have 4 (almost 5) kids. We're to have our 5th in July. Balance is so important. Really feel that I could never be where I am today without my coach. I think that we get "sucked in" to our daily routine. Without an accountability partner it's so hard to stay on task. And it's important to stay on task for the right thing as well. For me...it's God and family first....work … (3 comments)

Hey homebuyers....this is a sticky market. Buyer's think that since the market is down...that they're going to grab a great deal on a new home. Sellers are holding out for the price that they believe that their home is worth. The problem is that there is a huge stalemate going on in the market.
Homebuyers....if you want to shop with power...then get pre-approved. Getting pre-approved is of no cost to you other than copying a few documents and getting them to your lender. Addtionally, I can tell you that I've worked with over 100 realtors in my career....but even though I … (4 comments)

Most people know that there has been a vote to incorporate into a village of Campton Township. Today I received the following e-mail:
CAMPTON HILLS, ILLINOIS - The Committee to Incorporate the Village of Campton Hills is holding a meet and greet with the 21 candidates for village official positions on Thursday, May 10th from 7-9pm. Pretty Cool stuff. I have a motto...Go hard or go home. One more that I go by..."work to live, don't live to work." In other words...I work my butt off so that I can live the life that I want. NBA FINALS - FINALE FOR MY BULLS? - 05/08/07 08:35 AM
OK....we're not done yet, but we're not looking to good here. I want help. Quick fun story is that I worked a basketball camp with Michael Jordan during his early years at the Bulls. He came to Benedictine College and put on a one week basketball camp. I got to speak with him every day. Got my brothers to meet him to.....very cool dude.....Anyway, how quickly I digress.
What up with my Bulls? They're hurting after the hurting that they took in Detroit. I need some help in believing that we can actually win. Any takers?

One of my specialties is Relocation Loans. This is great for people who are being transferred at the request of their company. A relocation loan comes with a relocation letter. What makes my services at Cherry Creek Mortgage so unique is that there are so many needs for the relocating company as well as needs for the buyer.

In this business you are working constantly. I like to think of myself as a very balanced individual. Having said that, as a married father of 4 I have found out that working at home (to be proactive) is impossible. My kids are 8,6,4, and 2. My wife is pregnant with number 5. If I work at home...I'm poked and prodded until my children pass out at bed time...

Hey what are some of the bests in Chicago? I want to hear your favorites. Here are a few of mine:
1) Superdawg - this is listed as one of the best hot dog places in the world. In fact, it is listed in the book "1,000 places you have to visit in the world before you die." Been around for a long time.
2) Cheap Eats - Ronny's Steak House - Great little fast food kinda buffet right by the Daley Center...been around for years...

I was going to write something really profound about the mountains that we climb in life...and how great it is to conquer them....but then I realized that I actually have and do climb real mountains. I concluded that as of this moment right now I'd rather climb real mountains instead of our proverbial and metaphor mountains....
Any other climber's out there? By the way....I have climbe this mountain 11 times. This is Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park.....it's 14,256 feet high. Now that's a mountain...check out www.rmnp.com.

One of the most exciting as well as disappointing things about real estate is that there are so many that just like insanity. Remember that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
I'm a top lender in my area. Im in the top 3 nationally within my company. What sets me apart is that I partner...yes...partner with my realtor referral partners. That means that I care about their life plans, their visions and their goals. Got to tell you there is nothing greater than one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. I have been playing disc golf since 1981...roughly 26 years. I started with frisbees and gin and tonics. Over the last 26 years, I became a disc golf freak, turned pro (shut up....they do have professional disc golfers), earned no money...got married had 4 kids, wife pregnant with number 5 and have seen my game go to hell in a handbasket....

A great thing about our business is that you can run your life, run your business and run around. Vacations, payroll, self-employed and visions are soooooooooooo much fun. You really get to do all these things. In fact, you MUST do all these things, in fact you HAVE TO do all these things. Boy is it great. I love this! One of the best things about my job is that I get to work with a lot of people from our community and from within our organization. This enthralls me because I get to help a lot of people. Within our organization, however, I get to help raise people up.
