Most Touching Video I've seen in about 2 Years - 04/24/10 08:22 AM
I was at Active Rain Camp this past week. In conclusion they showed two videos. This one went right to my heart. It is ridiculous the way that it strikes right to the core of your heart. You want to be touched this weekend, watch this. I know it's a bit long (6 minutes), but trust me, it's worth the watch. It's now one of my favorites off of You Tube. Let me know your thoughts. Saint Charles Increases Bar Drinking Hours - 04/22/10 06:51 AM
Breaking news is that Saint Charles has voted to approve a new ordinance to allow bar drinking til 2:00 am on all nights. It used to be that you could only go to a bar to order drinks until 2:00 am on Friday and Saturday night only. Now that serving time has been expanded to the rest of the week.
Most believe that it's a matter of economic revenue for Saint Charles. However a lot of local residents aren't too pleased. I think that a lot of residents think that enough's enough. Local bars find that it's good way for more … (3 comments)

No she's not drinking a Coors light. I am! She wanted a picture acting cool though for dad. I told her that she needed to wait til I finished the goods! She then ponied up to the table and grabbed the beverage and said take a picture. So we did. Needless to say, she loved it. It was a fun night out and I just have the picture as a memory!

When Clients become Victims - 04/21/10 03:55 PM
I Met the Victim 1 month ago I have a client who's buying house X. He has to sell his own home before buying the new home. My buyer gets approved, but three days before closing the loan officer (who happens to be the realtor on the deal) calls and says that we have to postpone the closing because this deal is difficult and they need more time. My first reaction is "why are you the realtor and the lender on the deal?" That spells out conflict of interest to me. My realtor is livid and tells the other realtor/lender that … (5 comments)

I was amazed at my experience at Rain Camp yesterday in Palatine, Illinois. I learned a lot with Ben Kinney, Brad Anderson and Bob Stewart. It was like campapalooza with the big three sharing their wares, stats and knowledge for the neophytes like me. Seriously, I learned so much from them. Specifically, I learned from:

Just went to Harper College this morning. Already seen Brad Anderson and Bob Stewart. Ben Kinney gave me the mose useful tip to start the day. Need to know about www.runpee.com. When you're at a movie and need to hit the head.....this tells you the best moment to make that dash to the bathroom without missing the action that you've paid for......
Ben Kinney really is hitting how important the internet is with stats and some awesome sites.

It feels great to be back. Just got my computer back after 3 weeks of waiting for parts. What does this mean? I've been innondated with calls and e-mails asking if I've dropped off Active Rain?
No, No, No!!!!!! I had a one - week burnout. I couldn't log on to the Active Rain servers for about a week; I had spring break, and My computer crashed I'll be back up by next week. I can't wait. My mouth and fingers will type freely beginning next week. Thanks for the reach outs! I'm on my friend's computer so it feels good to connect. I'm back soon!!!!
