Two things here: 1) I'm a hard core Green Bay Packer's fan. My world was rocked two sundays ago when the Pack was beat by the Cards. 2) My priest is a hard core Cowboys fan and bugs me about it incessantly. This past week he made fun of the Packers and told the folks at Saint Patrick's Parish that after the Cowboys and Vikings game, parents in Minnesota will be playing that old Willie Nelson favorite, "Momma, don't let your children grow up to be Cowboys." I do love Favre even after vacating Green Bay. Why should I throw him … (9 comments)

Well it seems official....my boy, Brett Favre, is now signing with the Minnesota Vikings. He's to get a 1 year deal between $10,000,000 and $12,000,000 for his year with the Vikings. No matter what your thoughts are about Favre, it makes sense for the Vikings. They have one of the best teams in the league, but don't have a quarterback that can take them where they need to go. Evidently, Brett and Deanna have left Hattiesburg to fly to Minneapolis right now. Yes, Favre has done a lot wrong. So did the Packers. By the way, I"m going to Green Bay … (3 comments)

Gotta say...this blog will be short and sweet. I love my homey Brett. Sure his waffling stinks, but he's old....older...and his body heals slower. He's done more for the Pack over the last 16 years than anyone's done between all the years between Lombardi and Favre.... I think it really came down to poor communication. Gotta say...I'm a hard core Packer fan...actually an owner. I would have to say that I'd have a hard time rooting for the Packers if they played the Jets (this won't happen unless both go to the Super Bowl this year). Brett, Brett, Brett...where are you????? I love what Timberlake said at the ESPYs. "Brett, what you've been up to dude?" We haven't heard from you. This is not only the story of the moment, this could be the football story of the year. It's well thought that Brett will be applying for reinstatement from the NFL.
Gotta tell you...I love them both....Arron Rogers is the future of the pack, but Favre gives them the best chance to get to the Super Bowl NOW!!!! Roger Goodall will get him reinstated. He's pressuring the Packers to find a place for Favre either … (11 comments)
