So I can't tell you how awesome it was to be in Door County over the 4th of July. We had a blast and we threw the best fireworks display in Door County this year. 13 years and counting. With our firework's permit we had over $8,000 worth of fireworks and 300 people in attendance. 3 Yachts watching from the bay as well. It'll be hard to top next year, but somehow we'll find a way. door county: Vacation in Door County

Just got back from one of the best times that a family could have on vacation. Am still on vacation and all of the kids are sleeping, getting ready for round two. Yesterday, mom and dad took us on a couple of hour boat ride on their cabin cruiser, jetting across lake Michigan. On the way back, we stopped right in the middle of the lake and had the kids jump off the boat and go swimming. 5 of the 6 went, but the 2 year old wisely stayed out. I love Door County, Wisconsin. My parents have such a great place up there on Lake Michigan. It's right on Lake Michigan. My wife loves the beauty and loves the Lighthouses. Here's a lighthouse north of Sturgeon Bay. I think that it's one of the best places to be. Just beautiful. Good times and good weather. … (21 comments)

OK...here's my recap of day 1. We were to leave for vacation in Door County, Wisconsin. We're building a new home right next to our current home and my business got so darn busy over the last week....over 24 loan applications in the last 5 days. Executive decision to move departure date til today. We leave early in the am....but my wife's a junkie...she needed her fix....so before we leave town, we need to get her a cup of her favorite coffee at either Dunkin Donuts or Panera...she chose panera.. We walk in with all 5 children, ages 8 to 2 … (9 comments)

Tomorrow heading to Dour County, Wisconsin. Really excited about a getaway with a Pumpkin Festival, my wife and 5 kids, my sister, bro-in-law, and cigars and beer. Should be an exciting combination.
