fox valley: Batavia Illinois Makes CNN's Money's Top 100 Places to Live - 07/21/09 10:27 AM
So Batavia, Illinois gets makes CNN Money's top 100 places to live. Honestly, it makes number 56. I was surprised that Saint Charles and Geneva weren't ranked higher, but we're all part of the same Fox Valley. This is a huge boon for our community. We've always had a great community, but this really allows for some more recognition. Thanks CNN Money Magazine!!!! We're proud of Batavia as well. As seen in CNN Money.... www.money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bplive/2009/index.html

fox valley: Missing Child in Geneva - 02/15/09 04:01 PM
I never do this, but since it never happens our here in the Fox Valley. Something like this is every parent's nightmare. I don't know the circumstances, runaway, kidnapping, just a mistake of human error.. As of this point I'm not sure, but.....please take note Samantha Starr who has been missing since Wednesday. She was last seen at Geneva High School on Wednesday, February 11. She is 15 years old and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a turquoise shirt, brown boots, and dark navy blue hooded jacket. Samantha has brown shoulder length hair, blue eyes and is 5'8

fox valley: Twhat the Night Before Christmas Hists the Fox Valley - 12/14/08 11:09 PM
Fox Valley and Geneva in particular are blessed to have the Parcell family showing an incredible display of Christmas lights this year. www.twasthenightbefore.com/index.shtml is a great website that tells of the meaning of Christmas and why they do the displays. Quite a parallel to the meaning that is displayed in the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. Give the feedback. Go and visit 813 Cheever Avenue in Geneva this season. There is corresponding music to go with the broadcast of the light special. This promises to be a grand experience for all ages. We're taking our family later this week. Enjoy this experience.

fox valley: First Time Homebuyers have the Power NOW!!!!! - 10/17/08 11:03 PM
The First Time Buyer....WHY BUY NOW???? They are buying homes today that don't have inflated equity.. They don't have to wait for their home to sell... They have sellers willing to pay their closing costs and buy-down already good interest rates They are in the first "Buyers" Market in nearly 8 years. They have the largest selection of homes in 15 years. The current down turn in pricing will allow them to buy homes in neighborhoods that were out of their reach 2 years ago... They can get that extra bedroom or bath or garage... They can still buy a home with 3%

fox valley: Is the Fox Valley as bad as every other market? - 07/27/08 10:13 PM
Now is the time to buy is all you hear nowadays. Sure, if you're a homebuyer it's a great time to buy a home, but many homebuyers have home sale contingencies that put them in the wrong market. THE MARKET IS...."HAVE INVENTORY.....LOOKING FOR BUYERS." What makes the Fox Valley area so incredible is that it's a very white collar community coupled with an incredibly strong blue collar work force and work ethic. Needless to say a study was done for a nationally known international pub/restaurant chain. They determined that the median, YES MEDIAN income was over $110,000 per year per famlly.

fox valley: Chaos in Campton??? Campton Township Becomes Campton Hills - 04/23/07 10:21 PM
Interesting develpments in the Fox Valley. 20+ Square miles just got turned from Campton Township to the incorporated village of Campton Hills. There was a very low vote. 4000 of 8000 people voted, but I'm told that there were many more that could have been registered voters, but chose not to register. Therefore the new village was created by a low voter registration of potential voters. What does this mean? Mix results that's for sure. Many people see flaws in the arguments for the pro-campton incorporation views. For their view look at www.incorporatecampton.org/. The flaws see obvious. They have too little expenses

fox valley: The Lending Game - 04/19/07 10:52 PM
Hey All, This is my first blog, so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right or not. I want to say that I've been in the business for 13 years. Yes...I want to make money...lots of it, but I know that it comes from serving others. You, as the consumer, want someone whom you can trust in order to help you achieve your goal of home ownership, equity management and wealth creation through home ownership. The problem with our business is that there are so many lenders who promise the moon and deliver nothing. What happens is that they totally taint
