helpful tips: I need Feedback on Folks Using Active Rain's Outside Blog - 01/19/11 11:26 PM

I NEED THE INSIDE SCOOP ON ACTIVE RAIN'S OUTSIDE BLOG!!! I'm really trying to expand my direct connect marketing this year. I love our company's generic website. It's really connected to some great SEO and I've, quite frankly, recieved a lot of business from it. Active Rain has been my dream site as well. Or should I call it my dream blog?
I took a look at the outside blog and saw the testimonials from some folks that I know here. My questions very simply are.....

OK....here's where I need the 101 help. I'm really stuck....
How do I get color into my text? How do I change the size of my text? How do I add the follow me on Facebook tags for the blogs or on the right side of the page? Those are my burning questions here. I know that I've been here quite a bit, but I'm a neophyte when it comes to some of the techy stuff here. Thanks.....looking for some real basic 101 or point me in the direction for me to find it. Thanks all.
