hvcc updates: Can HVCC Just Go Away Now? Or Do I need a Good Realtor for each Appraisal? - 10/15/10 10:50 AM

HVCC is Hurting the Economy!!! HVCC otherwise known as Home Valuation Code of Conduct was designed as is the stop gap that was put in place to protect appraisers from receiving undo influence from lenders.
There are a lot of issues with HVCC. I've spoken about them in many of my posts. Most recently, I commented on a lot of the issues with HVCC. HVCC UPDATE!!!! IT HURTS THE CONSUMERS & OUR ECONOMY!!!.

HVCC is known as Home Valuation Code of Conduct. I like to affectionately call it hell for homebuyers, home sellers, realtors, real estate attorneys and lenders. Reaty Times reported that the days for HVCC are numbered and the death of HVCC is imminent......

I just got this news about HVCC. HVCC is known as Home Valuation Code of Conduct, otherwise known as hell for homebuyers, home sellers, realtors, real estate attorneys and lenders. Reaty Times reported that the days for HVCC may be numbered.

HVCC Update. The petition that has been going around seems to have finally made its way to congressional leaders. The House Financial Services Committee has been receiving lots of noise as to the negative affects that this law is having on the consumer. More importantly, the representatives are hearing the nightmare stories that have come along with it. Stories include shoddy appraisers being allowed to "get back in the mix" even though companies have blacklisted them. hvcc updates: HVCC - Crucial Update on House Bill 3044 for putting a moratorium on HVCC - 08/18/09 09:55 PM

I signed the petition for putting a 1.5 year moratorium on HVCC. I received an update as an exciting bill intends to put a pause in the executin of this bill.
HVCC Continues to devastate home values across the US. There is a fear that with higher Fannie and Freddie loan limits it will carry through to our former "jumbo" markets, leading the country even further into recession. Representatives Childers (D-MS) and Miller (R-CA) introduced legislation (H.R. 3044) requesting an 18 month moratorium on the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC).
